华尔道夫沙拉是一道有着100多年历史的经典沙拉。它源于纽约第五大道上的华尔道夫酒店Waldorf Astoria,因此也被称之为纽约第一的百年经典沙拉。最传统的华尔道夫沙拉只以西芹和苹果丁搭配蛋黄酱制成。后来,加入核桃构成“苹果,西芹,核桃”这个铁三角黄金搭配。而更高级一点的版本还会加入葡萄,干果,鸡肉等配料。 以下的做法结合了华尔道夫酒店的传统做法,Jamie Oliver(英国出名厨神)的做法以及我自己的一些想法。我觉得这个版本的华尔道夫沙拉无论口感还是味道都堪称完美!!毫不夸张地说真的完胜我在外面吃过的任何一个版本呢(当然,是包括华尔道夫酒店在内的版本)!
Waldorf salad is a truly classic salad with over 100 years of history. It originates from the New York Waldorf Astoria located on fifth avenue. That's the reason why it is also called New York's No.1 100 historically classic salad. The authentic Waldorf salad is made by combining celery, apple and walnut (a luxury version might also contain grapes, dried fruit and chicken), dressed with mayonnaise.
